In preparation of the UAHF and UASF proposals on August 1st, Bitcoin payments will be temporarily disabled in order to prevent a chain split.
Payments will be disabled until the proposals have been handled by the Bitcoin community. At this time we do not know how long payments will be disabled for, but it is expected to last up to one to two weeks and is necessary in order to prevent a possible chain split.
