Desktop client v2.5: Split tunneling on Windows

David Wibergh, about Products & features

With version 2.5, we've been working to implement a long-requested split tunneling feature. With split tunneling, you can selectively exclude apps from the VPN connection in case you want to run apps outside the VPN tunnel. For example, this can be useful if you want to stay connected to the VPN but still play a game without the additional latency from the VPN connection.

Currently, Split tunneling is only available on x64 versions of Windows 10 and 11.

List of changes in v2.5

    • Bug fix: first connection after sleep should no longer fail under certain circumstances
    • Bug fix: first connection after boot should no longer fail under certain circumstanced
    • Bug fix: connection should no longer fail when switching Wi-Fi under certain circumstances

    • New: split tunneling on Windows Intel-computers
