Update: After the maintenance we received a few bug reports from customers with the add-on service Public IPv4 and Multihop. These issues are now resolved.

During the interruption we also fixed a bug that causes some clients to get disconnected soon after an established connection.

We also modified parts of our system to make it updates easier in the future by removing the need to restart the OpenVPN processes. This means that we will need significantly fewer maintenances in the future since we'll be able to update the systems without restarting the processes.


On the morning of 08/06/2015 we will perform a scheduled maintenance which results in a service interruption on all VPN servers. Each server will have a downtime of in total 10 minutes sometime between 04:00-04:30.

The reason for the maintenance is to implement various updates to improve our DNS servers.

The update will lead to our DNS servers being significantly faster as well as allowing them to handle the increased load they've been receiving lately.
