The focus of this client has been to solve various bugs. Most importantly, a bug which would sometimes cause the DNS checker to just spin, as well as a bug where the killswitch would sometimes block the VPN connection itself.
List of changes in v2.14
- Bug fix: Resolved an issue where DNS checker would continue spinning
- Bug fix: Fixed an issue where the client would sometimes crash on Linux
- Bug fix: "Reconnect" should no longer reconnect to the best server rather than the favorite location when connecting using a favorite location
- Bug fix: The killswitch should no longer sometimes block the VPN connection
- Improvement: Changed help links in the client to link to the new help desk
How can I update the desktop client?
- Launch client
- You will now see a notification pop up asking you if you wish to update to version 2.14.0
- Click
Yes - Wait for the installation to finish and enter your password if asked for it
- Windows users must accept the Wintun driver installation
- As soon as the installation finishes, the new version will launch automatically.
If for some reason the online update fails
If something goes wrong, simply close the desktop client and install it manually.
