Guide to install OpenVPN for Tomato

1. Disable IPv6

In order to connect to OVPN - you will first need to disable IPv6.

3. Change DNS server

Go to the router GUI, and click on Basic » Network. Enter the following DNS servers in the fields for Static DNS.

  • Static DNS 1: 46.227.67.134
  • Static DNS 2: 192.165.9.158
  • Static DNS 1: 217.64.148.33
  • Static DNS 2: 192.165.9.157

Click Save.

4. Configure OpenVPN

Go to VPN Tunneling » Client. Then choose Client 1 » Basic.

Scroll down and click Save. Then click Start now.

4. Finished

You should now be connected to OVPN and be able to browse the internet safely. To make sure everything was set up correctly, please check the dashboard to verify that you are connected.
