This is the monthly transparency report for February 2018. OVPN had zero unplanned service interruption and zero planned service interruptions during the month of February.

Summary

Throughout the month of February, our VPN servers had an uptime of over 99.5%. In total, the OVPN servers encrypted and anonymized 2646 TB of data.

During the month of February, we received one request from authorities. We informed them that we have no information to provide them and have not heard from them again. To date, we have never given out any customer data to authorities.

Analysis

Our datacenter in Malmö has a maximum capacity of 10 Gbit/s. During the month of February, the traffic load amounted to 3260 Mbit/s on average. During the month of December, we added an additional 3 servers to the Malmö datacenter, bringing the total upp to 7.

The highest traffic spike was 7200 Mbit/s, which represents 72.0% of the maximum capacity. The 95th percentile landed on 5410 Mbit/s, meaning that 95% of the time, the traffic load was below 54.1% of the maximum capacity.

In total, 988,2 TB TB of data was encrypted and anonymized by the VPN servers in Malmö.

The Malmö datacenter had an uptime of over 99.5% during the month of February.

Our datacenter in Stockholm has a maximum capacity of 20 Gbit/s. During the month of February, the traffic load amounted to 4640 Mbit/s on average. On January 31, we added an additional 8 servers to the Stockholm datacenter, bringing the total up to 20 servers.

The largest recorded traffic spike was 8040 Mbit/s, which represents 40.2% of the maximum capacity. The 95th percentile landed on 6330 Mbit/s, meaning that 95% of the time, the traffic load was below 31.7% of the maximum capacity.

In total, 1.4 PB, meaning 1400 TB of data, was encrypted and anonymized by the VPN servers in Stockholm.

The Stockholm datacenter had an uptime of 99.5% during the month of February.
