We’ve received a lot of complaints and notifications from customers that DNS requests have been slow. In order to resolve this and make sure our customers can surf the web painlessly, we’ve deployed new powerful DNS servers, which can handle high traffic loads without considerable performance dips.
The two DNS servers are located in Obenetwork's datacenter in Stockholm and also support DNScrypt. Instructions to change DNS servers permanently can be found in this this guide.
The old DNS servers will still work throughout the month to prevent any sudden disconnects for customers who haven’t added the new DNS servers. During next week we will notify all current customers about the update via e-mail.
