This is the monthly transparency report for November 2018. OVPN had one unplanned service interruption and one planned service interruptions during the month of November.

Summary

Throughout the month of November, our VPN servers had an uptime of over 99.5%. In total, the OVPN servers encrypted and anonymized 3293.4 TB of data.

During the month of November, we received 0 request.

This number will increase as we are including received DMCA requests in future transparency reports, hence the new format.

Since we are a no-log VPN, we have never given out any such information.

Our data center in Malmö has a maximum capacity of 10 Gbit/s. During the month of November, the traffic load amounted to 2250 Mbit/s on average.

The highest traffic spike was 4880 Mbit/s, which represents 48.8% of the maximum capacity. The 95th percentile landed on 3680 Mbit/s, meaning that 95% of the time, the traffic load was below 36.8% of the maximum capacity.

In total, 724.5 TB of data was encrypted and anonymized by the VPN servers in Malmö.

Our data center in Stockholm has a maximum capacity of 20 Gbit/s. During the month of November, the traffic load amounted to 5900 Mbit/s on average. On October 16, we added an additional 5 servers to the Stockholm data center, bringing the total up to 25 servers.

The largest recorded traffic spike was 10220 Mbit/s, which represents 51.1% of the maximum capacity. The 95th percentile landed on 8840 Mbit/s, meaning that 95% of the time, the traffic load was below 44.2% of the maximum capacity.

In total, 1.9 PB, meaning 1900 TB of data was encrypted and anonymized by the VPN servers in Stockholm.

We deployed our servers in Gothenburg in August 2018, making November the fourth month the servers have been running. During the month of November we added an additional 3 servers, which means the total capacity in Gothenburg increased from 3 Gbit/s to 6 Gbit/s. However, the traffic load was only 914.9 Mbit/s on average in November.
